Paul Anderson

One of the most respected exponents of the Scots fiddle tradition today and as such is in regular demand to perform at concerts, festivals and clubs. He has traveled the world with his music and regularly performs on TV and radio.

Reviews:
” In the North-East fiddle tradition Paul Anderson sets the standard which others aim for. His phrasing, tone and control are all superb.” Music in Scotland
“Scotlandâs Paul Anderson, who is clearly something of a celebrity in those parts, led off with a mighty set of strathspeys that had the locals calling for more.” Stuart Edymann (Review of “Fiddler’s on the Road”, Derry and Donegal NAFCo 2012)

“Anderson can blaze through a reel with the ferocity of a forest fire on one track, then play a waltz with all the grace and subtlety of a swan on the next. He’s an extremely talented musician, and this multi-faceted compilation is an excellent showcase of the breadth of his work. It’s also a fine introduction to traditional-style Scottish music and a man considered a Scottish treasure.” The Green Man Review
